Hankin Alpine Report February 11 2016

Published by Harry Sowers on

Plus 5 at Hankin Day use hut today. Lots of slide activity in Morning Bowl and Main Bowl. Some areas cleaned out to ground. Shallow weak snowpack everywhere. It will take an unusually snowy few weeks to build a skiable snowpack in the alpine. Interesting skiing below the Hut which is very different from “good skiing”. Six people over at Hankin Fire lookout and 4 of us up at Hankin Hut. No one else around. Road looks well maintained.
