Published by Harry Sowers on

Friends of Hankin,

Tomorrow, (yes-Saturday!) is the Hankin workbee.  Car pools will be leaving from Safeway parking lot at 9 am, otherwise meet at the Hankin main parking lot at or after 10 am.

Food and beverages will be provided (thank you to BV Wholesale!). Please bring any kind of brushing and safety equipment you have (chainsaws, axes, D-axes, radios, bucking pants, etc.).

We will have some mixed fuel for saws and chain oil available as well as some radios and axes (thank you 3 years in a row UTM Exploration).

We have a number of things on the to do list which you can find under the forums section. There’s a variety of skills needed to maintain Hankin ranging from hiking to bucking so feel free to call something on the to do list if it interests you. It only takes a moment to create a login which you can use to share observations and take part in the discussion concerning maintenance.

If you have first aid training and can volunteer with our team of first aiders for the day, please contact::250-643-2513 bbskisociety@gmail.com
